Room no1Ontario House, Bed & Breakfast Salthill, is owned and run by Anne & John Markland. Our home is situated in the seaside resort of Salthill, overlooking Galway Bay. We are a five minute walk from the centre of Salthill and within walking distance of Galway City Centre. Our B&B Accommodation in Galway

Most of our bed & breakfast rooms are ensuite and we can accommodate families also. All rooms are equipped with multi channel televisions and hairdryers. Ironing facilities  are available upon request. On arrival you will receive a key for your bedroom and the front door allowing you to come and go as you please ... Our Location - Salthill Galway

Our B&B is in an excellent location on the west of Ireland, we are located in the seaside town of Salthill. Salthill is just one mile from Galway City centre, magnificently sited on Ireland's wildest river, the River Corrib, around which the city has been built. Nearby attractions such as The Burren and Connemara & the Aran Islands make Galway City the perfect base for exploring the west of Ireland.

We can book your tours for: 1. Cliffs of Moher & the Burren  2. Connemara & Cong and 3. Aran Islands and Cliffs Of Moher Cruise. These tours will pick you up at our front door. You can have an extra sleepin, no need to take a bus or taxi into town.

Galway’s most popular athletic event.Galway’s most popular athletic event, the Streets of Galway 8k Road Race is in it's 32st year the event will include more than 2,500 runners. Starting from South Park in the Claddagh, the race takes in the city centre streets, following a course out to Salthill before finishing with a two kilometre final stretch along with prom.
